Graduation Day of the Salvatorian School
The Salvatorian School in Janssensite, Basak, San Nicolas, Cebu City celebrated the 3rd commencement and graduation day on March 21, 2009.
SPCC Proponents' Workshops
The Salvatorian Pastoral Care for Children (SPCC) of Quezon City had organized a 3-day live-in workshops Seminar for Salvatorian Sisters as SPCC project proponents on February 23-25, 2009. It was held in Ciudad Christia Resort in San Mateo, Rizal. The Sisters participated the said workshops. The sisters were blessed with the facilitation of Mr. Leopoldo Moselina , the former Chief of the Child Protection Unit, UNICEF , Manila. The workshops provided the Sisters the additional knowledge and better understanding of the SPCC apostolate.
Regional Assembly 2009
The Philippine Region gathered together for its Annual Assembly on February 19- 21, 2009 at the Judge Veloso Compound in Quezon, City. The theme was; Weaving the Salvatorian Life towards the future. The powerful and striking input of Fr. Fred Saniel, Rector of SVD School of Theology has very much challenged the Sisters as Salvatorians in the Philippines It was indeed a gracious moment to be together as a Region.
Acceptance to Aspirancy Program
At the celebration of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on February 2, 2009 the Region officially accepted to the Aspirancy Program, Shirley Caber, former Lay SDS candidate.
Shirley Caber underwent the three months (November 2008 to January 2009) observation period program of our Region in the community of Tara, Bolinao, Pangasinan.
