Congratulations to the New Generalate Team!
The Philippine Region congratulates the newly- elected general superior and her councilors in the recent 20th General Chapter held in Rome. The theme of this year's Chapter: Salvatorian Women, Prophetic & Mystic in our Suffering World. Sr. Irma Caumeran, SDS, Sr. Alona Onag, SDS and Sr. Eloisa Holdiem, SDS all participated in the Chapter.

FIRST LAUNCHING OF FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM
The Salvatorian School run by the Salvatorian Sisters in Cebu City was the venue for the first Launching of the 1st Financial Sustainability Program of the Philippine Region. The said launching was held on September 8, 2012, the birthday of our Blessed Mother. Members of the Salvatorian Sisters' community, Salvatorian School children with their parents, benefactors and friends graced the occasion. Spring Rain headed by Ms. Glenda Antonio with her staff, were there to give full support.
The program began with an opening prayer led by the kindergarten pupils of Salvatorian School. The kids with such innocence and spontaneity were indeed adorable and very inspiring to watch as they led the audience in praying the Hail Mary Song with choreography. Thanks to Sr. Alona, SDS, school principal and Sr. Ma. Teresa, SDS for their patience and love to train, assist the children in every way for this activity. Sr. Marianne, SDS, Cebu community coordinator gave the welcome address while intermission numbers were provided in between presentations.
FEAST OF BLESSED MARY OF THE APOSTLES
On September 5, 2012, the sisters celebrated the feast of the co-foundress of the Congregation of the
Sisters of the Divine Savior or Salvatorian Sisters. The good bishop of Alaminos, his Most Rev. Bishop Marlo M. Peralta, DD was the main celebrant during the Holy Mass with the Salvatorian Fathers headed by Fr. Hubert Kranz, SDS and Fr. Herman, SDS concelebrating. Also present to concelebrate the Holy Eucharist were the Rogationist Fathers of Our Lady of the Pillar Parish in Saragosa, Bolinao, Pangasinan.
A Visit from Vice Provincial-Poland Province
The Vice Provincial of the Salvatorian Fathers in Poland, Fr. Boguslaw Loska, SDS came for a very short visit to the Novaliches Community on August 22 and and celebrated mass as well in New Manila community the following morning. He was accompanied by his cousin and husband, and Fr. Christopher, SDS. Fr. Bogus, as he was fondly called , was the first superior of the Salvatorian Fathers in the Philippines. It is a joy to welcome him in our country again! He gladly shared about his experiences while the Society was just beginning to take its roots in the Philippine soil. Now, with God's grace, the number of priests and seminarians have increased tremendously! God bless you, Fr, Bogus!
